We found Custom World Vacations via the web, and wow were we glad!  He arranged a private 4 1/2 hour tour of Malta for us at a great price.  Let me say that Bob, from CWVacations is a wonderful person to work with and truly wanted our trip to be spectacular, which it was.  We had a fabulous guide and felt we saw everything of importance on the island.  My husband is a pastor so we were really interested in the Biblical aspect of Malta, let me clarify that this was not a religious tour but that all our questions were answered and the guide was familiar with the Biblical history of Malta.  We started our tour in Hagar Quim which is a world heritage site with people living there 3600 BC, yes that’s right 1400 years before Stonehenge(and before Abraham).  It was a temple for fertility, amazing, they had blood sacrifices, that long ago because they knew they had to do something for their sins they even hung bulls up and let the blood drain down thru a hole in the ground.  There were big round holes in the wall also where the oracle stood and yelled out his prophecy.  Fantastic site of excavation.   We then went to Mdina or some spellings Medina.  The city is just unbelievable it was so beautiful.  It was one of the best medieval cities I have ever seen, so gorgeous, it was like a walk back in time.  We saw a mural there that my husband included pictures in a sermon upon our return home.   It showed the Apostle Paul standing next to the fire with a snake hanging from his arm, also Publius that was martyred by being thrown to the lions, really fantastic.  Then on we went to the president  of Malta’s gardens, finally a walking tour of Valetta, Malta(the harbor town).  If you are going to Malta please don’t hesitate to use Custom World Vacations, the tour was beyond our expectations.  Linda from Dallas, TX
