Day 1 – Arrive in Athens, Greece and transfer to your 4 star hotel

Day 2 – Sightseeing Tout of Athens and the Athens Acropolis

Enjoy a tour of Athens, combining many of the city’s principle modern and classical sights. This great value day out will allow you to see the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of Parliament House on Constitution Square, the Panathenian Stadium (site of 1st Modern Olympic Games in 1896) and the Presidential Palace. You will then be taken to visit the Temple of Olympian Zeus which is an impressive temple dedicated to the father of the gods. The climax of the tour is a visit to the citadel of the ancient city of Athens, the Acropolis, with its many monuments including the incredible Parthenon.  Included are the entrance fees to the Acropolis, and the entrance fees to the Temple of Zeus.  Refreshments, lunch and gratuities are not included.

Day 3 – Three Island with lunch

Take a day cruise from Athens to the fabulous Greek islands of Hydra, Poros and Aegina for a relaxing day on the sea. With all your transport, transfers and buffet lunch organized, you can sit back and enjoy your leisurely day cruise with free time on each island to explore. After transferring from Athens to Piraeus by motor coach, you’ll set sail for the island of  Poros, where you’ll have free time for strolling and shopping.

Next, it’s on to the island of Hydra. You will have about 1 hour and 45 minutes at leisure to enjoy the unique charms of Hydra Island, whose amphitheater shape once served as a safe shelter for Saronic Pirates. From the decks, you will be able to admire the very special architecture and dramatic landscapes of this island, whose old traditional stone houses and mansions silently stand witness to a long and turbulent history.

Upon arrival in Egina (Aegina) you can either join an excursion to the Temple of Aphaia (cost not included) or take a walk around the main town. Aegina is one of the Saronic islands of Greece in the Saronic Gulf. The lovely island is only 31 miles (50 kilometers) from Athens, and is a popular getaway for Athenians during the summer months.  After sailing back to Piraeus port you’ll be transferred to Athens.

Day 4 – Tour to Olympia

Driving along the coastal road of the Saronic Gulf we will make a short stop at the Corinth Canal before journeying to Epidaurus and the theatre famous for its remarkable acoustics. We will then make a short stop at Nafplio. The tour continues on to Mycenae to visit the archaeological site. From here we will depart for Olympia with a drive through the central Pelopennese area passing the cities of Megalopolis and Tripolis. Dinner and overnight in Olympia

Day 5 – Olympia to Delphi

In the morning visit the archaeological site and the museum of Olympia. The tour then continues via Patras to Rion crossing over the world’s longest cable deck bridge before continuing on to Nafpaktos and to Delphi for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6 – Delphi to Kalambaka

In the morning there will be a visit to the archaeological site and museum of Delphi before departing for Kalambaka with a drive through Amphissa, Lamia and Trikala arriving in Kalambaka for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7 – Meteora to Athens and transfer to flight home or continue to next destination

In the morning will be a visit to breathtaking Meteora with its breathtaking monasteries precariously perched atop towering rock formations. In the early afternoon the drive back to Athens passes through Thermopylae and Kamena.  Transfer to the airport included as the tour ends.
